What changes are indicated in the blood to confirm that gout is present?

Gout is caused from high levels of Uric acid in the blood, it usually affects the big toe area, but also affects feet, ankles legs. I have bouts with gout which affect my feet and ankles it's very painful from all the swelling. According to the doctor the uric acid crystallizes and goes to an area of the body. Apparently that's what causes the pain and swelling. There are medicines out there for treatment of this, you should go to your doctor.
