Atheists and Theists: If a creator god existed, what would it be like?

It is very difficult to say much about such a hypothetical being without it being pure invention. Certainly it would appear not to care very much about people or to want to intervene in the course of nature, but your suggestion that it directed evolution appears to indicate otherwise in your scenario. Perhaps the world is an experiment to it and it just wants to see what will happen.
