Is there anyway to block Facebook friends from seeing certain things on my profile?

I like to play some of the games on Facebook but they often require participation from other FB friends. Most of my FB friends don't play the games. There are public forums where you can find friends that do play the same games but that would require me to add them as a friend. I am normally very particular about the people I add on FB because there is some info on there that I wouldn't want complete strangers to know about me. Is there anyway that if I add strangers on my FB page that I can block what they can and can't see on my page?
