Can I use Light extra virgen Olive oil for my hair?

Can I use Light extra virgin Olive oil for my hair instead of regular extra virgen olive oil. By the way , is it still o.k if i didn't warm the oil and just put it on my hair, Because my microwave broke ...and ..well..ya , I'm skrewed with that .. but is it still o.k if i didn't warm it up ... and if i used Light extra virgen olive oil instead of regular???? PLEASE ANSWER!!
