What's wrong with my knee's?

I'm hoping that a Dr or someone with some real experience can help me with. Last August for no reason my knees started swelling and it became very painful to walk (I'm 5'7 135 lbs) I hadn't fallen and every day it was getting worse. In Sept I went to the quick care and they took xrays which showed nothing. They referred me to an Orthopedic surgeon who said I had a bunch of fluid around my knee joints, had me do a blood draw and treated me for gout. My blood tests came back fine and didn't point to gout so then they thought I had some sort of arthritis. Now it's almost May, 4 different Dr.'s have treated me for every kind of arthritis known to mankind, and now I can't walk at all (well barely) and my knees are so swollen they look hideous. I know I probably need an MRI, but have lost my insurance, through this whole ordeal. I am taking glucosomine as though I owned stock in it. Any ideas anyone??? I am miserable and on top of that the collateral damage is that since I can't walk or move, I've gained 50 pounds, which is not helping the situation at all. Thanks to anyone, who answers seriously..
