Will my teacher give me extra credit?

Basically I screwed up all my grades first quarter, but I was able to get all of them up to a's. The problem is that I got a 79% for psych first quarter. I got an a every other quarter but the problem is all my grades average out to a B+. If I tell her about how hard I've been working to improve my grades in her class do you think there's any chance she gives me any extra credit opportunities? I know it's an ap class so its unlikely...but 25% of our grade each quarter is participation and I got a 78 for that first quarter. Maybe she can raise that to an A like all my other quarters and then I'll end up with an A- for the year? Basically I'm willing to take on any amount of work to earn this A-, do you guys think there's any chance I get the opportunity or should I just deal with the B+?
